Ali brings over 8 years of finance leadership across the UK, Luxembourg, Romania and Pakistan, working at the intersection of financial control, FP&A and tax compliance.

He currently serves as Head of Finance for a private equity and consulting business, with lead financial control responsibility across the group's subsidiaries, alongside oversight of corporate tax strategy, VAT and transfer pricing.

Prior to this, Ali managed securitisation structures end-to-end, including cash flow management and financial modelling, and oversaw IFRS 9 implementation covering ECL modelling, asset and liability valuation, and the setting of risk policy and framework. His experience also includes credit fund structures in Luxembourg, spanning asset management, fund management and compliance.

He has served clients in the UAE on group FP&A analysis, and has handled audits that were resolved in the client's or company's favour. His background also spans Pakistan tax advisory and ISA-standard audit, with engagements across banking, microfinance, infrastructure and public sector clients. Ali is known for owning the finance function end-to-end, working independently across jurisdictions, and translating financial detail into decisions leadership can act on.
